Welcome to Frontier Forge Institute. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Frontier Forge Institute website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

2. Program Description

Frontier Forge Institute ("The Forge") offers a field-based leadership training course for young men ages 13-17. The program includes physical activities, outdoor training, and educational instruction. Participation involves inherent risks associated with outdoor and physical activities.

3. Eligibility

Participants must be male, aged 13-17 at the time of the program. All participants must complete the application process, including a required interview. Admission is at the sole discretion of Frontier Forge Institute.

4. Registration and Payment

• A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to complete an application.
• The deposit is fully refundable if the applicant is not admitted following the interview.
• Upon admission, the remaining tuition balance must be paid according to the payment schedule provided.
• Early enrollment pricing is available for applications paid in full before April 1.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Before Admission: If an applicant is not admitted, the $250 deposit will be fully refunded.
• After Admission: Cancellations made 30+ days before the program start date will receive a refund minus the $250 deposit.
• Within 30 Days: Cancellations made within 30 days of the program start date are non-refundable.
• During Program: Participants who leave the program voluntarily after it begins are not entitled to any refund.
• Dismissal: Participants dismissed for misconduct or violation of program rules are not entitled to any refund.

6. Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

Participation in The Forge involves physical activities and outdoor training that carry inherent risks, including but not limited to: physical injury, illness, exposure to weather, and other hazards. By enrolling, parents/guardians acknowledge these risks and agree to sign a comprehensive liability waiver and medical release form prior to participation.

7. Code of Conduct

All participants are expected to:

• Follow all instructions from staff and instructors
• Treat fellow participants, staff, and property with respect
• Refrain from possession or use of drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or weapons
• Participate fully in all program activities
• Maintain appropriate language and behavior consistent with our values

Violation of the code of conduct may result in immediate dismissal without refund.

8. Electronic Devices

Cell phones and personal electronic devices will be collected at the start of the program and returned upon completion. This policy is essential to the program experience and is non-negotiable.

9. Health and Medical

Parents/guardians must disclose all relevant health information, including allergies, medical conditions, and medications. Frontier Forge Institute reserves the right to decline enrollment or participation if we determine that participation would pose an unacceptable health or safety risk.

10. Photography and Media

Frontier Forge Institute may photograph or video participants during the program for promotional and educational purposes. By enrolling, you grant permission for such use unless you provide written notice opting out.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Frontier Forge Institute and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Frontier Forge Institute, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your participation in our programs or use of our website.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of West Virginia, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any modified terms.
